DTX2 Series Long Range Radio Alarm Transmitters

The SigCom DTX2 series Radio Transmitter is a long-range radio communications device listed for use as a Public Fire Alarm Reporting system. It provides a versatile and cost-effective alarm reporting solution for transmitting Fire Alarm signals from protected premises to radio receiving equipment located at fire stations and dispatch centers. The DTX2 system connects to any listed fire alarm control panel through 16 programmable, supervised, normally open dry contacts.

When combined with SigCom’s TRX50 System Processor and Radio receiver module, the DTX2 is Factory Mutual (FM) Approved as a Public Alarm Reporting System in accordance with NFPA 72 Chapter 27.

The DTX2 is available with 16 supervised, dry contact inputs for zone alarm reporting and/or other status reporting functions. There is an additional input used for external, user operated alarm activation. Optionally, the DTX2 can also interface with a serial port (RS-232 or RS-485) connection from a listed fire alarm control panel. Zone input circuits and external switch contacts can be assigned with up to 32 different event types.

The DTX2 Processor board includes an integrated set of Form C fault contacts. Both normally open and normally closed contact terminals are available for system fault monitoring by external devices.

The DTX2 Radio Box is available in a NEMA Type 1 enclosure for indoor installations.
