VECP-60 Voice Evacuation System

SigCom's VECP-60 is a high-performance 60-Watt voice evacuation control panel designed for use as an adjunct panel to UL-listed fire alarm control panels (FACP) or as a stand-alone emergency voice/tone notification system.

The VECP-60 integrates a Class D digital amplifier, built-in microphone, supervised battery backup, and user-installable message/tone selection into a single, compact enclosure.

Configurable via on-board DIP switches or configuration software using a USB port, the VECP-60 offers unmatched flexibility for a wide range of voice evacuation and emergency notification applications.

The VECP-60 features a high-efficiency 60W Class D digital amplifier with two supervised 25 Vrms (70V optional) 30W speaker loop outputs configurable for Class A or Class B wiring. The fire message is activated by a 24 VDC polarity-reversing NAC circuit or a supervised dry-contact input, making it compatible with virtually any listed FACP.

Seven alert tones and 5 voice messages are included with field-selectable and user-installable options. The on-board 24V NAC output allows activation of Audio Power Boosters and Signal Power Supplies, enabling system expansion for larger facilities. Up to 4 additional supervised dry-contact inputs support activation of secondary messages.

The VECP-60 is housed in a surface- or flush-mount dead front locked cabinet with on-board backup batteries and charging system. Field-programmable digital messages and optional VECP-60 software provide access to unlimited pre-recorded voice messages for maximum system customization.
