The SGX-32 Series is a cast aluminum manual alarm pull station, available in either single or dual action configurations. This series of pull stations has a DPDT switch mounted in the cast base and wire connection is made to screw terminals provided.

The solid design and rugged construction of the SGX-32 station makes it ideal for use in harsh operating environments and hazardous locations. The SGX-32 series of manual stations is UL and FM listed for use in the various classifications of hazardous environments shown in the specification table. These devices have a NEMA type 4X rating for operation in extreme weather conditions and plant wash down applications. They are also UL Marine listed for operation in highly corrosive environments.

Operation

The SGX-32SK2 single action station is operated by pulling the handle marked “PULL” on the front of the station as far down as it will go. At that point, the station will lock in place and is easily visible from up to 50 feet. The SGX-32SK1 dual action model features a “PUSH” bar that moves inward, allowing the “PULL” handle to be grasped and operated by a single hand. The activated station is reset by opening the station with a key, placing the handle in the normal upright position, and re-locking the station.
